Can't say i've done much the past couple of days. Life's been pretty boring. Seen friends mainly, from "way back when." Good times. They've changed some (a lot) since I last saw them... grown taller, look older. Some have gotten considerably less academic and far more into drugs/drinking, but underneath, they're still the same old person that I know. And even though I haven't seen them in over four years, we are still able to chat away like old friends.
Saw a different friend today. One that entered my life right after the previously mentioned friends faded from it. Collected up on a four-year old bet. At this point, I would have been content and happy letting it slide, but my friend was gracious and treated me to a royal pampering. After meeting at Starbucks (cuz where else do you meet in Oly?) and grabbing drinks, we went to the spa (?) place for excellent peticures. Can't say I've ever had a peticure before, but the warm water foot bath, comfortable massaging chairs and tropical decorations won me over to the whole "foot pampering" thing. (This was the payment for the bet, by the way). Afterwards, we went for a nice long walk around the falls and talked...
Anyways, I gotta go get to sleep and work on adjusting to the NE sleep schedule~

s'pose I should write that Im back in the states and have been for the last 10 days. Its wierd being back... aside from the culture shock (more so than last time), I find myself TRULY missing Germany. The people, the churches, the food, the music, the horses.
Ive done a lot though, since I've been home. A good friend from Alanta visited me for a week and I drug her all over western washington... the coast, the Hoh, Mt Rainier, and even to another friend's wedding... Then have seen friends... Kyla, Adriel, Anne, Kari, Beth, etc
Went sailing the other night. Haven't sailed in years. It was nice being back on the water again, and not far from an old stomping-ground of mine. Even took a night swim, another summer tradition. Carthsis.
Also started another quilt. One with many pieces, done in tones of creme, tan and brown. I'm excited.
